Mobile Support for the Transportation Manager and Qualitity assurance on loading and transportation!

SALT Solutions developed an iPhone/iPod Touch App, optimally supporting the Transportation Manager in the consequent adherence of applicable traffic laws within the responsibility of all vehicle-related services. The App supports the standard checks in loading and transportation also and brings up all belonging processes to an higher level of quality.

What are the functions of the app?

- Mobile support on GSM network and W-LAN (depending on the type / field of application / contract providers / network availability) in the monitoring and control of loading and transport activities
-logging of states and actions through preconfigured checklists:
-exam and testing parties (shipper, carrier)
-Assignment
-Order Confirmation
-Vehicle Identification
-Description of goods
-Technical inspection of the vehicle with picture documentary
-Completeness of the transport documents with picture documentary
-Load securing with picture documentary
-Indicating additional remarks
-Documentation of the overall test result with signature panel
-Creation of a check report in PDF
-Delivery of PDF check report via e-mail

The following types of checklists are preconfigured and contain all of the above check points and features:
-Standard Checklist
-Carriage of Dangerous Goods supported with dangerous classes list based on January 2012
-International transport with additional fields for customs-related documents such as ABD, CMR and TIR, additional customs accompanying documents, customs seal and additional seals
-Special transport with 5 additional free text fields

Multi mandate. Creation and maintenance of master data to any number of loading locations / shippers and carriers / forwarders for manual entry or transfer of contact data from the iPhone / iPod Touch / Smartphone
•Prepared to link the carrier data from the transport companies file developed by the BAG (VUDat)
•Acquisition of location information from the GPS location of the device (depending on type).
